“Answering the Question”
John 10:30

Proposition:  Jesus is not some man simply chosen and anointed by God to be the deliverer of the Jews but much, much more.

Transition:  Jesus’ answer clearly reveals 4 truths concerning His identity.

I.  He is the Focus.  (“I”)    

II.  He is a Man. (“I”)

III. He is With the Father. (“I and the Father are”)

IV.  They are One. (“one”)
A. They are One in Their Care of the Sheep.
 1.  They agree on those given by the Father.
 2.  They agree on the Son redeeming those given.
 3.  They agree on the Spirit regenerating those given.
 4.  They agree on preserving those given.
B.  They are One in Their Power.
C.  They are One in Their Authority.
D.  They are One in Their Nature.

“Multi-Dimensional Healing”
John 4:43-54

Proposition:  The Supremacy of Jesus Christ is seen in His position as the Great Physician, a physician who provides healing in more than one dimension.

Transition:  The healing power of Jesus Christ is evident in 3 dimensions from this text this morning.

I.  Our Lord Heals Emotional Illness (vv. 46-50)
            A.  The Official Has a Common Malady (vv. 46-47)
            B.  The Official Has an Earnest Request (vv. 47-49)
            C.  The Lord Has an Omniscient Word (v. 50)
            D.  The Official Has an Immediate Healing (v. 50)
II.  Our Lord Heals Physical Illness (vv. 49-53)
            A.  The Son Has a Death Warrant (v. 49)
            B.  The Official Has Limited Faith (v. 49)
                        1.  Jesus must be present to heal.
                        2.  Jesus must heal prior to death.
            C.  The Lord Has Omnipresent Power (vv. 50-52)
            D.  The Son Has an Immediate Healing (vv. 52-53)
III.  Our Lord Heals Spiritual Illness (vv. 53-54)
            A.  The Official, His Servants, and His Son are Spiritually Dead
            B.  They Have a Spiritual Rebirth (v. 53)
            C.  The Lord Has an Omnipotent Purpose in What He Does (v. 54)
